whereas you do not know what [will happen] tomorrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
| Psa 39:5 | Indeed, You have made my days [as] handbreadths, And my age [is] as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state [is] but vapor. Selah
Why, when life is but a vapor, do so many people spend time blogging?
Am I the only one wondering that? Of course, the natural question is, why AM I blogging?
Simply because, there are so many people, spending so much time reading the musings of others, that I thought it might be a great way to reach others with the blessing of God's Word, the wisdom filled quotes of godly men who desire (past/present) to serve the One True God and to encourage discernment in a world that appears to lack much of it. As Kay Arthur says, " Remember that there are words of men and there are words of God. Mankind's writings might be good, even classic-but they are not God's."Covenant God's Enduring Promises pg6
So to that end, I hope that you will find this blog filled more with the words of God than the words of men. One of my favorite pastor's once told me, "God's truth is sticky!" I pray that living in this vapor, you find that to be true.
For He alone is worthy,

My husband is in Peru right now. This load of freshly kilned bricks reminds me that we have a creator who has fashioned us with HIS hands. We, like these new bricks, are not meant to stay in the truck. It is not enough that we look at these bricks and think about the useful things they COULD be a part of. They need to get OUT of the truck and be put to use. A brick can be thrown threw a window, or used to build an orphanage. How will we be used by God today? Will we allow ourselves to be, or hang out in the truck?
